Q. Does Cosmetic Acupuncture Hurt?

Cosmetic acupuncture does not hurt. Acupuncture needles are hair-thin (1/10 the thickness of a hypodermic needle), flexible wires that come wrapped in sterile packaging. They are used only once, and then disposed of in a sealed container.

Acupuncture will not cause any lasting side effects. At worst, you may get a small bruise where a needle was inserted, but it will clear up in a matter of a day or two.

Q. How many treatments do I require?

In order to achieve maximum results recommended 6 to 10 treatments, and these sessions are to be completed once to three times a week for best results.

Following the initial course of treatment, monthly maintenance sessions can prolong the results for years. Each treatment takes  60 minutes.
